This policy explains what information The Sales Nerd ("we", "us", "The Sales Nerd") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, our consulting services, and the software tools we operate, including integrations that connect to accounting and CRM systems such as Intuit QuickBooks Online.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use client financial or CRM data for advertising.
When you connect a third-party account such as Intuit QuickBooks Online, you authorize us to access that account through the provider's official API using credentials (access tokens) that you can revoke at any time. We use that access only to perform the functions you approve. We store the minimum credentials needed to maintain the connection, keep them encrypted at rest, and never share them. You can disconnect at any time from within your QuickBooks account (Apps > Connected apps) or by asking us to revoke access.
We share information only as needed to run our services:
We keep information for as long as needed to provide services and to meet legal, accounting, and audit requirements, then delete or anonymize it. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and encryption of stored credentials, to protect the data we hold. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data protected and to limit access to those who need it.
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can revoke any connected-account access at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any of these, email mike@thesalesnerd.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
We may update this policy as our services change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
